Zero Harm Advisor - Shutdowns

Job Description

Our Facilities and Asset Services business has an opportunity for an experienced Zero Harm Advisor to join our team on a Power Station Shutdown in Gladstone. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will support the shutdown project and deliver expert health & safety advice and undertake safety observations, toolbox and pre-start talks, risk assessments, interact with the client and their systems & safety information, reporting and practical support to the business.

ABOUT YOU

  • Hold a qualification in Work, Health and Safety, along with ICAM investigation certification or training and Audit qualifications
  • Industry White Card, and current Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to evaluate and implement Zero Harm policies, procedures and improvement plans, ensure compliance and complete incident investigations
  • A strategic approach to safety with experience in engaging with stakeholders and working with them to help in achieving both project and corporate objectives
  • A self-starter who is motivated, resilient and passionate about Zero Harm and able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Strong computer and data analysis skills that extend to report collation and presentation

 

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Early June 2022 commencement for an approximate duration of 6-8 weeks
  • Casual site-based role in Gladstone, Queensland
  • LAFHA or accommodation available for distant workers
  • Monday – Saturday roster, 12.5hr days (day shift only)
