Due to internal growth, we on the hunt for proactive & adept Trade Assistants to join our award-winning Undercarriage Rebuild Center team based in Paget, Mackay! These are permanent full-time roles, working Monday-Friday in TOWN!
As a Trade Assistant you will:
- Assist in performing quality service, maintenance and repairs on all equipment sold and/or serviced by the Company as directed by a Tradesperson or immediate supervisor
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure that assigned tasks are free of faulty workmanship assuring quality in the finished product
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within required target times
- Research to ensure that the latest or improved parts as fitted/used on each job

About You
A successful teammate will have:
- Minimum two years' experience in a comparable role within the mechanical or similar heavy industry
- Skills to work safely and move components/parts without damage to self, others, the components/parts, and equipment.
- Competent to perform medium level welding, painting, and mechanical tasks.
- Skills to communicate effectively in a workshop environment, while working with others, including Tradespersons and Leading Hands.
