About the Role

Our Terminal Bunkering Coordinator supports the Gladstone Marine Terminal (GMT) site, managing the daily terminal operations and leading the team of Terminal Operators to ensure safe and reliable operations are maintained.  You will coordinate the daily activities of the team, arrange delivery of ordered bunkers, carry out a range of daily operating duties around the terminal and operate the blending station.  You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including stock control, quality control, blending, fuel sampling and testing.  Supported by the Terminal Manager, you will be a key customer contact and will manage relationships with key stakeholders.  The role is highly varied between working outdoors around the site and in the office (with amazing views of the ocean).

About You

For this coordinator role, we are looking for a flexible and motivated person, an experienced communicator with team leadership capability, strong safety skills and customer focus.

A background in a team leader/coordination role in similar high-risk environments (shipping, oil & gas, mining, processing etc.) is sought after and we will provide the successful candidate with comprehensive training in barge movements and bunkering operations.

You will have great time management and organisational skills, and an eye for continuous improvement and some computer proficiency is required.  You must be happy working outdoors mixed with sometime in the office planning, scheduling and general admin duties.
