Temporary Full/Part-Time Legal Secretary

We currently have a position available for a temporary six month maternity fill for a full/part time legal secretary. 

In the role of Legal Secretary, you will multi-task in all areas of administrative services in our team utilising a broad range of software programs and systems to perform a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities not limited to but may include:-

  • Excellent telephone management
  • Diary management and appointment handling
  • Handling queries via phone, email and general correspondence
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Typing, photocopying, scanning and collating material


We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Excellent typing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (word and excel)
  • Familiarity with legal software would be advantageous, Microsoft Office Suite skills or other software packages
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated with ability to use initiative
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Proven ability to work effectively independently or as a team member
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of tasks and business information
