About the role
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent – Night shift to join our Brownfield’s Project Leadership team based in Gladstone, Central Queensland. You will be employed during a planned shutdown event on an LNG facility based on Curtis Island, off the coast of Gladstone, Central Queensland. This position is a casual role commencing end of May until approximately the 8th July 2022.
As a key member of the team, your leadership skills will ensure that all work meets the standards in relation to safety, quality, schedules, cost and delivers to project milestones. You will ideally have the following:
Minimum 5 years-experience in a Superintendent position, preferably in an LNG facility
Sound knowledge of safety, quality, shutdown or maintenance procedures and requirements
Significant experience managing and leading teams
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Strong decision making and negotiating skills
Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and drive schedule
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative and positive manner
Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist team members
Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products: Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Trade qualification either Mechanical or Fabrication
