CGS Emerald – Stock Controller

CGS is a specialist agri-retailer successfully operating for over 40 years, servicing the supply of agronomic services, crop inputs & technology for customers throughout NSW, QLD & NT. We have a clear focus in the cotton, broadacre cropping and related agricultural & horticultural industries operating from a current network of 11 Branches and Offices.

 CGS currently has a vacancy for a full time Stock Controller at our Emerald Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily coordination and supply and forecasting of our inventory. The position also involves timely product ordering, stocktake, reconciliation and daily processing. The candidate will be responsible for keeping all dangerous goods materials and paperwork up to date, and ensuring the branch is meeting all its Agsafe and regulatory compliance requirements. 

Applicants will have proven success working in a similar position, or in a retail spare parts environment as well as excellent communication skills and a willingness to work in a small, highly engaged team environment. The successful applicant must be prepared to achieve Agsafe accreditation and obtain a Forklift operator’s licence. A Truck drivers’ licence is desirable as is computer literacy.  Experience in general office administration will be well regarded.
