About the role

If you are ambitious, team spirited and driven, we would like to have you join our small workgroup within the Wayside Systems Team based in Mackay, we have a permanent opportunity for a Signal Electrician to carry out the installation, maintenance, and repair of all signalling equipment. In this role you will be also be responsible for reporting on the performance and condition of the signalling asset to ensure it's safe and effective operation.

 

  • Install, maintain and repair signalling equipment including telemetry equipment in accordance with predefined work programs.
  • Repair and adjust mechanical signalling equipment as required.

 

 

About you

To be considered for this role you must possess the following qualifications:

 

  • Cert IV Rail Signalling
  • Provide CPR 12 Mths
  • Low Voltage Rescue 12 Mths
  • Current Queensland Manual Drivers Licence
  • Current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence
