SHUT DOWN BOILERMAKERS & SUPERVISORS!

 

About the role

WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Welders & Boilermakers to work with our client based out of Rockhampton. 

 

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic workers to join our shutdown teams - shut down will be based in Gladstone region. The successful applicant will need to be able to work as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, be well organised and love a variety of work.

 

Roster will be Monday – Thursday for 8 weeks work starting 3/6/2023.

 

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Structural steel flux cored welding of plates to enclose eye beams in shut down environment.

 

Skills and experience

  • A trade qualification 
  • Highest commitment to maintain a safe work environment.
  • High Risk Licences for Working @ Heights and Confined Space Training is highly regarded.
  • Display initiative and can work independently.
  • Show commitment to high quality workmanship and customer service.

 

To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Certificates in associated disciplines
  • High Risk Licences for Forklift Operation and EWP tickets are desirable.
  • Blue card medi pass & QAL induction
  • Ability to pass a site Medical / Drug & Alcohol
  • Ability to work away from home.
  • Right to work within Australia
