About the Role

Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Service Supervisor to join our award-winning team in Rockhampton. Working with our CRC and centre of excellence, this role will work with 3 Service Supervisors and reporting to the Service Manager. This role will provide you with the opportunity to drive and influence quality, service and safety across this significant business unit.

As a key member of the Rockhampton Operations, you will collaborate with other key operational teams including Tractor Shop. Field Service and Parts. Your commitment to safety will be critical, as is your commitment to the teams that support you and your ability to manage stakeholder engagement and build strong customer relationships. In the role of Supervisor, you will demonstrate and develop your ability to manage projects, maintain focus on financial drivers, continuous improvement and provide the highest levels of service standards and quality. Your ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation, internally and externally will enable you to build the important relationships and networks for success.

As a Service Supervisor, you will:

  • Ensuring safety management systems are monitored and messaging and or initiatives are clear, current, and measurable
  • Manage service monthly WIP, Invoicing, Accruals and Forecasting as per Business KPI's
  • Build and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure customer expectations and priorities are mutually agreed and understood.
  • Align goal setting, work plans, budget & resource allocation
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across Rockhampton BCO and greater HDAL work units
  • Demonstrate positive team engagement and leadership to support the operational activities across CRG

About You

A successful teammate will have experience in:

  • A relevant Trade Qualification (Preferred)
  • Ideally demonstrated experience in leadership role managing a workshop team
  • Demonstrated experience in an operational environment with heavy industry and equipment.
  • A strong product knowledge of Caterpillar machinery
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven and demonstrated capabilities for planning, co-ordination and organisational skills.
