Having recently received a 5 YEAR extension to our contract we are seeking Experienced Service Persons to work with our team at the Baralaba Mine, located 150km west of Rockhampton in the Bowen Basin.

Key Role Tasks

  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience
  • Daily refuelling and servicing on a broad range of mining equipment
  • Identifying defects on equipment during servicing and performing servicing in regard to service sheets as directed
  • Undertake other work in support of maintainers where necessary
  • Maintain working knowledge of task instructions and procedures, and assist colleagues to do the same
  • Complete all administrative duties as required

Role Requirements

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate highly regarded
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current Standard 11
  • Current Coal Board Medical (or ability to pass)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A
  • Demonstrated ability in applying the site safety systems requirements
  • Demonstrated safe, professional and productive behaviour
  • Experience with CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment will be highly regarded
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry will be highly regarded
