The Role

Reporting to the NQ Service Manager and based in Mackay, the Senior Mechanical Service Technician will be responsible for performing hands on complex maintenance to all HVAC systems and working on various ongoing and upcoming jobs in the FNQ region.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical support as required
  • Conduct detailed inspections of buildings/sites
  • Plans maintenance and repair work as required
  • Install refrigerant pipe work, flow controls and accessories
  • Develop strong relationships with customers

We are looking for a candidate who will demonstrate their experience in HVAC service, an understanding of the challenges of working in a dynamic and fast-growing business, and the following attributes:

  • Possess relevant State and National Trade Licences (including but not limited to ARCTick, NREL, Construction Induction etc)
  • Possess a valid Drivers’ Licence for the state of employment
  • The ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
