Rigger / Scaffolder

About the role

As a key member of the UGL team, your LNG industry skills will ensure that all work meets the standards in relation to safety, quality, and schedule.  We have a number of roles available in our Maintenance Team which are a mixture of fixed term or permanent.  These roles are based on Curtis Island, off the coast of Gladstone Queensland and local applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.  Positions we currently have available:

  • Scaffolder / Rigger dual licenced – Scaffolding strong x 2 positions
  • Scaffolder / Rigger dual licenced – minimum intermediate or advanced in both
  • Open Crane Operator with minimum Intermediate Rigger x 2 positions

About you

As part of the UGL team, you will work collaboratively with your teammates and other work parties; fostering an inclusive culture where ideas are heard and considered. Ideally you will have:

  • High Risk Work Licence – Advanced Rigger / Intermediate Rigger
  • High Risk Work Licence – Advanced Scaffolder / Intermediate Scaffolder
  • High Risk Work Licence – Open Crane
  • High Risk Work Licence – Forklift and WP – preferred but not essential
  • Enter confined space qualification – valid within 2 years
  • Safe work at heights qualification – valid within 2 years
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar environment ideally in Oil & Gas (LNG)
  • Ability to contribute to a high-preforming team
