Kimberley renal service has several opportunities for qualified and experienced renal dialysis nurses to join our dedicated teams working in our centres in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. These vital roles will see the successful candidates providing dialysis services to patients in our centres, located in Broome, Kununurra, Derby and Fitzroy Crossing.
The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Acceptance and triaging of patients
- Provision of dialysis to patients
These roles provide you with the opportunity to utilise and further develop your renal dialysis skills and experience in a remote setting.
This role will provide you with an unbeatable opportunity to learn about remote healthcare and renal care and gain experience not available in larger tertiary hospitals.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Nursing Qualification and registration with AHPRA
- Full Covid Vaccination (3 doses)
- Federal Police Clearance
- Significant, proven experience in renal dialysis
While not required for the role, a renal certificate will be highly regarded.

KAMS is a well-established regional Aboriginal community-controlled health service, founded in 1986, which provides centralised advocacy and resource support for 6 independent member services, as well as providing direct clinical services in a further 6 remote Aboriginal communities across the region.
Kimberley Renal Services (KRS) includes 4 Renal Health Centres based in Fitzroy Crossing, Broome, Kununurra, and Derby and a mobile prevention unit.
