Blue Care has exciting opportunity to join our Regional Onboarding Team supporting the Central QLD region.  

  • Full Time Fixed term Position (12-month contract)
  • Based in Mackay 
  • $30.14 per hour or Salary Equivalent $59,556

The role will assist the delivery of assessment centres and interview days, pre-employment checks, and contribute to the overall onboarding experiences for our entry level roles across multiple sites within the Central QLD region. Your role will be critical in the successful growth the organisation is experiencing. Utilising your experience within recruitment and onboarding of entry level roles, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring business operations are run effective and efficiently resulting in our clients and residents receiving an exceptional experience also! 

Travel will be required to support interview day and assessment centres in surrounding regional locations. 

In the role you will:

  • Deliver and support interview day & assessment centres across multiple sites
  • Be a point of contact for candidates and internal stakeholders - via phone, email and in person as well as supporting successful candidates with queries related to our onboarding platform (Onboard Express)
  • Be responsible for pre-employment compliance of candidates ensuring they are compliant prior to commencement
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of candidate information in candidate tracking tools
  • Support hiring and on-boarding administrative activities for your service/s including working with local leaders to request and issue a new employees’ contract of employment in a timely manner
  • Provide an excellent candidate experience, ensuring Blue Care is a preferred employer

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisation and prioritisation skills, and demonstrate a keen interest and understanding of the importance of providing an excellent first impression to new employees and candidates. Previous experience in recruitment, interviewing and  onboarding would be considered advantageous as well as any qualifications, skills and experience in Administration, Business or Training.
