MRAEL looking for inspiring and strategic Regional Leaders, to motivate and lead a brand new, high performing Employment Services team in the day-to-day operations of the relevant Workforce Australia program in your region!

MRAEL is proudly part of IntoWork Australia. Through IntoWork, we are pleased to have recently been selected by the Commonwealth Department of Education, Skills and Employment to deliver new Workforce Australia employment services from 1 July 2022 in Fitzroy

About the Role

As a Regional Leader, you will lead by example and inspire a positive, energised team to take ownership and pride in delivering creative, meaningful employment solutions to our customers and clients.

This new and exciting leadership opportunity will enable you to drive performance across the team, as well as building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and employers in your local community. You will be responsible for the delivery and profitability of Workforce Australia contracts within your region, and contribute to the overall success of MRAEL.

With every day bringing new and varied challenges, this role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a difference in their region, and who has a strong interest in economic development and community advancements.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following skills and experience:

Previous demonstrated experience in Employment Services at a senior level (highly regarded)
Demonstrated experience or capacity in staff supervision, leading a team and the ability to coach and guide staff to achieve organisational objectives
Well-developed networking skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across internal and external stakeholders
Solid understanding of the local labour market as well as the barriers to employment and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of program contract, systems & KPIS
Intermediate skills in the use of the Microsoft Office computing package
Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field ( not essential)
Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people from different socio-economic backgrounds
Be passionate about helping people and making a difference in the community
Be results and target driven
Be flexible and capable of managing competing demands in a fast-paced and changing environment
Be highly organised and possess strong administration skills
Have a current drivers licence
