A full-time position is available within our Administration team for a confident and passionate person who would excel in a busy reception environment.  As our firm’s Receptionist you will be the face of the firm and the first contact point with our clients.  You will be well presented, pleasant, welcoming and reassuring.

You will be responsible for the running of our front office as well as being an all-round team player to help the business as a whole run efficiently and meet various deadlines.

To be successful in this role you must possess a strong commitment to a high level of client service, the flexibility to perform a range of general administrative duties and be highly organised and proactive in your approach to your work.   

Responsibilities include

  • collating income tax returns and other financial reports for presentation to clients in hard copy and electronic form
  • collating and processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • electronic lodgement with the Australian Taxation Office including income tax returns, business activity statements and other various lodgements
  • receiving client payments, reconciling EFTPOS receipts and attending to firm banking
  • workflow management – entering jobs into our electronic workflow system and printing weekly reports
  • scanning and filing – we are a paperless office in that we do not store much paper
  • general office duties

Skills and experience

  • exceptional customer service skills
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • high attention to detail and accuracy is non negotiable
  • high level of organisational and time management skills including the ability to work unsupervised
  • proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
  • receptionist position and accounting/professional office experience desirable but not required
  • current Australian driver’s licence
