About the Opportunity: 

Reporting to the Group Manager Products and Consumables who is based in Newcastle, you will work as part of a broader procurement and supply team across all our Metarock businesses. Your extensive experience working in the mining industry or similar environment, will have equipped you with the skills to effectively support the consumables with both internal and external customer sales and account management.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Products and Consumables sales in QLD to Underground Coal and Pybar/Hardrock- Support to NSW sales as required;
  • Managing current customer accounts across QLD including product testing and maintenance requirements (Underground time will be required);
  • Underground coal experience essential with the below a benefit:
    • Experience in ventilation
    • Experience in secondary support
    • Experience across multiple sites in QLD with current inductions
    • Experience dealing with different levels of customers (underground miners, Coordinators, Superintendents, Mine Management)
  • Ability to travel across the QLD Mining regions as well as to NSW coal mining regions on occasion.

About the Person:
