We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced QA/QC Coordinator to join our Gladstone Operations on a permanent basis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed safely, on schedule and to client specifications. You will be managing, implementing and monitoring quality systems, training and qualifying welding personnel and supervising/conducting inspections of welding activities. You will also ensure all NDT requirements are in compliance with relevant standards and client specifications and accurately document material and weld traceability data.
This is a local only position, you must reside in Gladstone or surrounds to be considered for the role.

What you will bring
- Current Weld Australia Welding Supervisor AS1796 certificate 10 and/ or IWS qualification
- Trade qualification as a boilermaker
- Relevant experience in maintenance and mechanical projects
- AICIP Qualification (Advantageous)
- Tank inspection knowledge (Advantageous)
- A commitment to ensuring a safe working environment
- A proven track record in effective health and safety management on site
- Experience in effective management of personnel, resources and equipment to meet Project requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
