The Property Supervisor is a unique role, providing hands-on leadership to Grounds and Maintenance staff working within the Rockhampton cluster. The position is responsible for ensuring all applicable legislative and policy requirements are met, scheduled, ad-hoc maintenance is performed, and the properties and grounds are in a presentable condition.

This role's responsibilities include overseeing the grounds and maintenance for several sites, including a Residential Aged Care, two Retirement Living Villages, two schools, and two counselling centres based in Rockhampton.

What do I need for the role?

  • Certification and/ or significant experience in the maintenance, carpentry, grounds-keeping or other relevant trade field
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate staff working remotely
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements relevant to grounds maintenance
  • Previous experience in an Aged Care setting highly regarded
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with the elderly, school aged youths, staff, management and the general public
  • Current Flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain, or current Police Check Certificate issued before 1 Feb 2021, and Blue Card
