Our Facilities and Asset Services team has an opportunity for a Projects Delivery Manager located in Gladstone, QLD. Reporting to the Shutdown Manager, you will be responsible for the management of construction and delivery of planned and reactive maintenance projects within the Gladstone region to ensure that targets for productivity are met in accordance with health, safety and quality requirements. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, along with maintaining internal relationships with key managers, business leaders and our workforce. In this office-based role you will visit sites on a regular basis to attend client meetings, and review progress and performance.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Mechanical Trade or Engineering background with Diploma in Project Management preferred
  • Strong background in industry facilities construction with a leadership Construction background.
  • Experience with local Industrial sites within the Gladstone region is desirable
  • Demonstrated understanding of Australian standards related to construction of facilities and standards and regulations.
  • Financial experience in forecasting, budgeting and cost control, with confidence in cost estimation to assist with new bids and tenders
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills and able to interact with a wide variety of people including managing relationships with external clients / colleagues / contractors, etc
  • Able to resolve commercial issues, minimise risks and maximise opportunities.
  • High level of computer literacy in the use of MS Office suite, MS Projects and Primavera P6 with the ability to learn new systems
