The Opportunity
With a strong presence within the Bowen Basin region and with continued growth, we have a new and challenging opportunity arise for an experienced Mining & Logistics Project Manager to join our Team.
The primary purpose of the Project Manager role is to act as the operational manager for day-to-day haulage and transport activities across our Operation.

Specific Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for our Client in establishing the requirements and demands for the project
- Create and articulate the work plan to implement the requirements outlined by the Client and process all documentation accordingly.
- In conjunction with the site manager, plan for and implement work flow in order to ensure maintenance and housekeeping requirements are met.
- Coordinate and supervise Operators and staff on the ground
- Compliance records, reports and information in connection with the supervisory responsibilities
- Observe, direct and correct operating behaviour of employees under supervision to ensure safe work practices
- Conduct toolbox talks as required in order to communicate key operational issues associated with the shift
- Observe Qube policies and procedures as they apply to the tasks assigned
- Operate in a safe manner at all times, ensuring that any safety breaches or incidents are reported immediately to the Site Manager or SSH&E Manager
Key Requirements for the role:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Manual driver’s licence
- Substantial operational experience
- Computer/IT literate - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Excel and report writing
- Strong planning and communication skills are essential
- Advanced leadership skills and staff development skills are essential
- Ability to work well within a team environment
