Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works. Monadelphous has been a part of the Central Queensland community for over 15 years, providing vital jobs to locals and those who consider Gladstone home.
 
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Project Coordinator to join our Gladstone team in a permanent capacity, working on a site-based role in Gladstone.
 
Key responsibilities include:
 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications including 3D Models, GAs, Isometrics and P&IDs
  • Complete material take-off and execute procurement
  • Tendering/Estimating and high-level methodology development
  • Perform project control functions – scheduling, cost control including managing performance against budget and developing variations where required
  • Develop work packages for field teams to execute including all necessary QA documentation – development of ITPs and associated check sheets
  • Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve any project management issues

What you will bring
  • A tertiary qualification in Mechanical OR relevant project qualifications
  • Ability to interface with customers and manage time frames and team delivery.
  • Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project)
  • Experience working on-site, servicing the resources sector
  • Proven ability in continuous improvement and successful delivery methods
  • Strong, clear written and technical skills 
  • A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • An innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement 
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence 
  • Proof of right to work in Australia 
  • The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
