The Role
The Production Operators are responsible for operating and controlling various areas of the Lithium Hydroxide Processing Equipment in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner. Operating the plant involves many different activities, including overseeing the control of the process, product sampling, operating large mobile equipment and monitoring operational equipment.
This role is offered as permanent full time, based at our Kemerton site.

About You
Albemarle is a values-driven company that appreciates and promotes resilience, equity, inclusion and diversity of background, experience, and expertise. As the successful candidate you will ideally possess a relevant degree and experience:
- Have previous industry experience in Process Operating or similar environment, chemical refining background highly desirable
- Be able to work a production/commissioning shift roster and open to flexibility around day and night work
- Possess a current Driver’s Licence and be eligible for a ‘clean’ national police clearance
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk and follow safe procedures of work
- Possess knowledge of Permit Isolation Systems and other OSH related processes
- Be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical, comply with the site wide clean-shaven policy and thrive in a drug and smoke-free work environment
- Have the legal right to live and work in Australia
- Reside or be PREPARED TO RELOCATE within 55kms of the Bunbury Kemerton Plant
- Have commissioning experience (highly desirable)
