Pest Management Officer
Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Pest Management Officer to contribute to Council’s success.

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to undertake monitoring, education, and enforcement of legislation relevant to pest management, in conjunction with the practical application of pest management services on Council controlled areas.
You will bring:
- Experience in pest management, regulatory investigation and enforcement activities, and interpreting and applying legislation.
- Effective communication (verbal and written English) and literacy skills to liaise with customers and employees, and accurately document and record information.
- Problem solving and negotiation skills to process complaints and gain cooperation and assistance from customers and landholders.
- Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
- Proficient skills and experience in smart mobile technology including ipads, tablets and applications.
- Legally able to hold or currently hold an Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control Licence
