Parts Interpreter
We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Interpreter to join the Hastings Deering team in Emerald. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position requires a self-driven individual with a passion for customer service. This is a permanent Monday to Friday role.

About the Role 
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, through face-to-face and over the phone contact
  • Develop customer loyalty to the CAT brand through surpassing customer expectations
  • Receipt cash, cheque, and credit card payments for parts, and accurately record them on the cash sales summary
  • Diligently perform emergency back orders and assigned tasks
  • Assist with the reconciliation of cash sale account entries
  • Warehouse Duties, including Forklift Operation
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • Committed to a No Harm Environment
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean workspace
  • Knowledge of CAT and associated products, parts and services is desirable 
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Proven self-motivation skills with the ability to gain an understanding of the business systems that we operate
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous warehouse experience would be desirable
