AAMG has been engaged by our client partner to find them an experienced Parts Interpreter for their Mackay Branch. Our client is an expanding Machinery business which sells Agricultural and Construction size equipment to the Mackay and Whitsunday region.
As a Parts Interpreter you will:
- Provide a high level service to customers to efficiently manage their parts queries, requests and quotes
- Manage an efficient phone service, answering all calls and providing a professional and effective customer experience
- Perform administrative and cash management practices including receipting of cash, cheque and credit card payments
- Follow up on all expiring quotations
- Provide timely responses to customer order status requests, ensuring lead times are effectively communicated
- Identify opportunities to -up-sell parts consumables including fluids, tools, accessories, & novelties
- Provide product support service, machine sales and rental leads are immediately communicated internally
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Knowledge of Mining, Agricultural, Construction and associated products, parts and services is desirable
- Forklift Licence desirable
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Proven self-motivation skills with the ability to gain an understanding of the business systems that we operate
- High level of attention to detail
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Previous warehouse experience would be desirable
