Programmed Skilled Workforce are looking for suitable Oxy Cutters in the Central Queensland area.

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking Oxy Cutters for contract work in the Gladstone Region. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and high level of attention to detail

Our client specializes in the safe handling, collection, processing and distribution for sale of ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals to international markets as well as their company owned, Australian-based domestic steel mills and manufacturing facilities.

Description

Assisting within the recycling process, planning and cutting of large metals, anything from light gauge steel to structural beams for recycle in a scrap metal yard. Contracted work from Monday to Friday.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Steel laboring or Oxy Cutting Experience - high volume scrap metal experience desirable
  • Sound level of knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and instructions including the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
  • High level of both written and verbal communication skills.

This is not a FIFO position and applicants must be based in the Gladstone region to be successful for the role.
