We are seeking people with health or medical qualifications (diploma or degree) such as Nurses (RN, EN) Allied Health Staff, Melanographers or other AHPRA registered health professionals to work alongside support staff, clinical and medical teams at the Rockhampton based clinic. This is an opportunity for you to enhance your skills and knowledge. Training will be provided in this specialised field.

With a background in Medical Imaging, Nursing, or human medical sciences or other related fields, you will enjoy this unique role in which you can develop your skills and specialise in the imaging of skin conditions. Experience in melanography and qualifications in dermoscopy are an advantage, however not essential.
You will understand the importance of inclusive, integrated, person-centred care and be comfortable working in fast-paced environments. You bring personality, positive energy, and proactive attitude to the role. Working with a strong, passionate Team you will assist in the growth of Dermatology Solutions services. To be successful in this role, you must be a creative thinker, and confident driving change. You appreciate the challenges involved in working with a diverse workforce within a rural and regional health environment and bring outstanding interpersonal skills, flexible, patient and ability to relate well to all levels of society.
You must have a calm, reassuring and organised manner, as you will be primarily working independently with patients.
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Liaising with patients in a professional and caring manner
- Providing full body assessments using world-first technology
- Creating written patient medical reports
- Identifying potentially concerning lesions and documenting accordingly
To be considered for the role, you must be available to undertake a 11 weeks course (online and in person) commencing mid to late February 2022.
