About the role
As our In Work Mentor, you will provide ongoing support to our customers and employers within our various employment services programs to ensure sustainable employment and outcomes are realised.
This role devises interventions and solutions to work with the customers and employers to improve prospects of maintaining sustainable employment, whilst also working with employers to appropriately plan and develop their workforce to create future employment opportunities and to improve overall staff retention.
What will you bring to the role?
- A solid understanding of people-centred case management principles including barrier management as well as a detailed understanding of the principles of workforce planning
- Experience creating customised employment opportunities and diversity programs
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
- The ability to balance empathy with the drive to work in a fast paced, target driven environment
- You are a true people person and enjoy meeting and building relationships with people from all walks of life
- Strong administrative, compliance capabilities and IT skills
Additional requirements:
- Right to Work in Australia i.e., Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or Visa with permission to work - excludes visas with Temporary Work Rights
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or the willingness to gain if successful. We will reimburse you the cost on commencement.
- A current and valid Driver’s Licence
- Willingness to undertake a "Fit2Work" Police Check
