Mental Health Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a professional, experienced and enthusiastic Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Queensland.

The successful applicant must possess a degree in Nursing from an accredited university, and have a minimum of two years’ experience in a mental health setting. 

A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia is also required.

The role of Mental Health Nurse requires excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for providing quality patient care and a commitment to patient safety.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing mental health assessments and interventions to a diverse range of individuals, providing therapeutic interventions and care plans, developing and implementing plans of care, and providing support and guidance to both patients and their families/carers.

The successful applicant will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuing professional development
