Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works and has been working with clients in the Bowen Basin since 2009. Possessing a strong pipeline of work, the team consists of locals and those preferring to DIDO. Opportunities now exist for appropriately skilled people who are keen to join the Monadelphous family and grow with us in this region.

Monadelphous currently have opportunities for Mechanical Supervisors to join our Mackay Operations Team working in the Bowen Basin. Initially you will commence in our Mackay Office to meet the team and be trained on our systems, from then on in you will be required to travel to site for each of the projects you undertake to see them through.

The Supervisors within our Mackay Operations team, will carry out a wide range of tasks across dragline, shovels and wash plant activities from planning, coordinating and supervising daily activities of work crews, ensuring compliance with internal, client and legislative HSE requirements through to ensuring that the quality, production and environmental requirements of the project are met.

What you will bring
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
A commitment to ensuring a safe working environment
Australian Recognised Metals Trade Certificate
Minimum 3 years Supervisory experience
Shutdown experience is highly desirable but not essential
Ability to Obtain if you do not hold current certifications for the below:
Working at Heights & Confined Space Entry
Gas Training Atmosphere
Standard 11 or BMA Core Induction
Current Coal Board Medical
G1,8,9 & G2
