About the Role
Centurion Mackay are currently looking for experienced MC Drivers to join the team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for transporting various goods from general freight through to heavy machinery. Centurion currently service a wide range of customers within the Bowen Basin Region are offering a broad variety of runs from 5/2 roster through to 14/14. Duties
- Loading and unloading of general freight
- Loading and unloading of heavy machinery
- Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
- Carrying out vehicle pre-start checks
- Ensure freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times
- Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner to and from customer specified sites
- Ensuring all freight loaded matches the paperwork
- Safe driving record and commitment to creating a safe work environment
Skills and Experience
- Current MC Drivers Licence
- Good time management skills
- Load restraint knowledge highly regarded
- Ability to take direction from supervisors
- Strong knowledge and practical application of load restraint techniques
