BUMA Australia is a growing mining services company with four solid mining contracts and around 1200 employees. We recently announced a five-year extension with BMA and expect to announce further growth soon. In December 2021 we finalised the purchase of the Open Cut Mining business of Downer on the East Coast. This acquisition included the transition of people, mining services contracts, assets, systems and intellectual property from a business which has successfully provided mining and civil services in diverse locations and across many commodities for over 100 years.

We are looking for Maintenance Planner to join our team at BUMA Australia in full time position.


Work with Maintenance Superintendents to ensure quality maintenance performance, including asset availability and reliability.
Develop task plans for the execution of both routine and one-off maintenance activities.
Schedule day-to-day servicing of all equipment and major component change outs and equipment overhauls.
Identify critical spare parts to be held in stock on site, setting these parts up in stock with sufficient Min Max levels.
Review standards and processes associated with the role, identifying areas for improvement and either implementing those improvements where it is within your authority, or recommending the improvement to the Maintenance Superintendent.

Trade certificate or tertiary qualifications.
Significant experience in plant/equipment maintenance planning.
Significant experience in the use of computerised maintenance management systems.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
Work Planning and scheduling skills.
