Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, an opportunity exists for an exceptional Maintenance Planner to join the Oaky Creek Coal team.

Oaky Creek North Mine is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Maintenance and Engineering Department. The position requires a person with a high level of attention to detail with experience in developing maintenance plans for new and existing equipment.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing both short and long-term maintenance plans on new and existing assets
  • Maximising operating profit, equipment reliability and availability through planned maintenance
  • Collaborating with supervisors and area coordinators to maintain compliance and GCAA Asset Management Framework
  • Administer computer-based site maintenance system (SAP) to enable safe and reliable coal production at Oaky North
  • Previous experience using SAP, you will use the program to raise work orders with clear and concise written job instructions

As the successful Maintenance Planner, you will have:

  • Previous experience with SAP
  • Microsoft Office will be favourable
  • Formal trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Engineering
  • Knowledge of FMECA, cost management and budgeting
  • A proven ability to interpret Engineering drawings, OEM manuals and standards is crucial
  • High level of efficiency, resourcefulness, and personal organisation
