Maintenance Officer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our Sunset Ridge Community in Emu Park. This position will undertake the regular corrective and routine maintenance around the site including buildings, equipment and grounds area and would be ideally suited to an experienced Handyman, Groundskeeper or Landscaper.
You will work on a Permanent part-time basis across 5 days a fortnight; 3 days one week and 2 the next. 

About the role
Assist with the prevention of equipment breakdowns by undertaking scheduled preventative maintenance as well as corrective maintenance tasks
Assist in the engagement, induction and management of external contractors
Identify and undertake maintenance and repair activities in an efficient and cost effective manner

What do we need from you?
Demonstrated knowledge of building and associated trades in relation to maintenance
Strong commitment to providing a high level of customer service
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Good computer skills with the ability to record, log and produce maintenance reports
The ability to liaise professionally with external contractors to obtain quotes and ensure outcomes are met in a timely manner.
Ability to work within a team environment and with timeframes whilst juggling competing priorities
Valid working rights
Police Check (or willingness to undertake the check)
2022 flu vaccinations or willing to obtain
Covid vaccination evidence in line with current requirements
