An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Boilermaker to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the team and reporting directly to the Field Maintenance Crew Supervisor, this multifaceted role will see you performing regular maintenance tasks, general fabrication welding repairs, supporting the team to deliver cost effective and reliable performance against the key deliverables defined by the maintenance plan, fabricating handrails, platforms and ladders for various designs of mobile equipment, performing structural, bucket and dipper repairs on excavators, draglines, drills and shovels and conducting safe and efficient repair and maintenance of mobile equipment.

To be successful in this role, you are a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic team environment, qualified heavy fabrication tradesperson with 3+ years' experience in the Mining industry, hold a confined space and high-risk licence and proven experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy mobile equipment, be a team player with a proactive attitude towards safety and possess a strong work ethic, you will also be willing to attain and maintain a Glencore Level 2 weld qualification.

You will have the option to either live locally in one of the communities that surround our operation or stay on site in our amazing village. We are only a one and quarter hour drive from the beautiful Mackay hinterland and a two- and half-hour drive from Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands and have a diverse group of people at our operation commuting from multiple locations in Queensland such as Rockhampton and Townsville, to name a few.
