New Auckland Place provides first class care and accommodation to the Gladstone community and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality of care and support to all our residents and their families. The family-owned facility is operated by Johnson Stenner Aged Care Pty Ltd.

About the role

Successful candidates will have excellent time management skills and be effective communicators with high level written and verbal skills working alongside a dedicated Lifestyles team, enriching the lives of our residents through activities, health and leisure programs.

This is a casual/part-time opportunity which requires being available for a 7 day per week roster. Immediate start available.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Aged Care, Lifestyle or Leisure 
  • Prior experience and working with residents with Dementia highly regarded.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of the team
  • Must be able to deliver the highest quality of individualised care for our residents.

All applicants must be willing to undergo NDIS Staff Screening and a pre-employment medical.

Important:  New Auckland Place adheres to state and Commonwealth directions regarding mandatory vaccination requirements within Residential Aged Care Facilities. Applicants must meet the vaccination requirements applicable or be willing to obtain should they be the successful candidate. Proof of vaccination is required.
