Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant

Job Description


We are seeking a full time and a part time Legal Secretary to join our long-established law practice in Gladstone CBD.

 

We are seeking 2 Legal Secretaries with excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) and a strong attention to detail.

 

The successful applicants will provide quality administrative and legal assistance to our busy legal practice which operates in a variety of areas of law including family law, criminal law, commercial law, wills and estates.

 

Day to day duties will include supporting our legal staff, client liaison, dictaphone typing, preparing documents, online searches, diary management, billing, time sheet entry, general secretarial work, office administration and assisting other staff as required.

 

Applicants must have a pleasant personality and be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.  This role is fast paced and requires someone who can cope well under pressure.  We offer modern facilities and a supportive team environment.

 

A high level of English is required together with excellent computer skills in the full Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and acquire new skills quickly. Touch typing would be an advantage.

 

Full training will be provided in our office systems and procedures.  Wages are negotiable depending on experience.
