About your role
QAL has an opportunity for a Learning & Development Officer to join our Human Resources team. This role is diverse and requires you to be flexible, adaptable and be able to work autonomously. You will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:
- Your ability to quickly develop and maintain effective relationships with line managers
- Providing a professional service to our business to meet training needs
- Interacting with internal and external stakeholders regarding learning requirements, including identifying and developing plans to close knowledge gaps and reporting on compliance to training plans
- Coordinating and delivering training as required including (but not limited to) site inductions, Working at Heights and Confined Space for employees and contractors
What you will bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Demonstrated success with internal and external relationship management
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
- TAE40116 qualifications (or equivalent) is desirable
- Cert III Process Plant Operations is desirable
- Comfortable in the use of the Microsoft Suite of programs, SAP and Success factors LMS (preferred)
- A positive and motivated attitude with a strong work ethic
