Job Description

IPA are looking for an experienced IT Support Officer for an immediate start with our client in Mackay.

The successful applicant will be employed by IPA on a labour hire basis for the duration of the assignment. The role will be full time hours, Monday - Friday and there is a great competitive rate on offer which we will discuss at the interview stages.

The duties of the role are quite varied and may include:

  • Resolution of software, hardware and network related problems
  • Providing technical support to all staff (phone, face-to-face and remotely)
  • Monitoring and responding to IT service desk requests
  • Setting up various IT equipment (laptops, desktops, phones, tablets, printers etc.)
  • Other duties as directed, full PD available upon application

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working as an IT professional
  • Ability to effectively operate business's computer systems including Finance One and the MS Office Suite.
  • Appropriate knowledge and understanding of Windows domain network support and administration, networking concepts, data communications, Microsoft Operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills relevant to the position and strongly focused on the provision of quality customer service.
  • Drivers licence
