The Role

This position supports Council’s direction through the administration, coordination, and strategic management of Councils infrastructure charges in a professional, efficient, and confidential manner ensuring the development of good working relationships within Council and across the development industry.

Further it is a core objective of the position to ensure that development within Livingstone Shire satisfies the requirements of Councils Planning Scheme, LGIP, AICR, policies, and governing legislation, relevant to infrastructure charges, in an ethical and professional manner.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

•  Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., financial management, business administration, Diploma in Local Government Planning and/or extensive demonstrated experience in a relevant business or development assessment environment); and 

•  Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver licence.


•  Salary – $85,573 (QLGIA (Stream A) Level 5);

•  9-day fortnight;

•  Supportive work environment; and

•  Generous Superannuation.
