Job Description

The Opportunity:

Komatsu is seeking an experienced HV Electrician to Work under the direction of the Anglo Maintenance Supervisors and Komatsu Project Manager to maintain and repair a range of equipment to ensure optimum quality, availability and performance. Actively participate in communication and data collection between the customer, Project Manager and Gladstone Branch contacts to develop and maintain strong and positive relationships.


Roster: 7 days on 7 days off, 12 hour shifts, gate to gate role

Role Located: Anglo Dawson Mine Site

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Electrical trade qualification
  • QLD Electrical License
  • HV Switching Ticket
  • Current Driver's license and driver history report
  • Knowledge and understanding of OEM Equipment such as KOMATSU, CAT, LIEBHERR and/or HITACHI
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised and in remote areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computer systems
  • Assist the team in the planning of maintenance schedules and workload by engaging in positive communication
  • Supply practical technical expertise and assistance to minimise equipment down time
  • Liaise with relevant personnel to ensure all required policies, procedures and resources are available prior to carrying out planned work
  • Carry out downloads and analysis of on board computer systems
  • Provide a high quality standard of work and diagnosis by using the workshop manual
  • Provide well written service reports covering complaint, cause and correction
