Zenviron a joint venture between Monadelphous and ZEM Energy established in 2016 and is a market leading engineering, procurement and construction services contractor, specialising in the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects in Australia.
Following the continued growth and success of the business, we are currently seeking an experienced Safety Manager for two major Wind Farm Projects in Central Queensland.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Supporting and coaching project personnel to successfully execute major construction projects in a challenging landscape;
• Establish strong management system frameworks with major delivery subcontractors.
• Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure project safety, environment and technical specifications are adhered to;
• Coordinate Principal Contractor safety obligations onsite and identify any non-compliances
• Ensure consistent and high-quality project documentation including management plans, SWMS, risk registers, investigations etc;
• Leading and coordinating the delivery of HSE advice and services to the project, building effective partnerships with both client and subcontractor HSE teams, and providing hands on support where required
• Reporting to the delivery and corporate teams to ensure effective functionality and support to operations including behavioural safety and culture improvement campaigns

What we are looking for:
• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety
• Significant experience in similar HSE site-based roles within the renewables / infrastructure or construction sector, ideally coordinating subcontractors
• Well established knowledge of HSE legislation and industry standards with an in-depth knowledge of Principal Contractor duties
• Formal training in incident investigation methodology (e.g. ICAM, Taproot)
• Intermediate user of MS Office Suite to accurately assemble, maintain and document quality records and accurate reports
• Demonstrated proactive attitude toward HSE and procedural compliance
• Well-developed written communication skills
• Well versed in modern behavioural safety and culture-based programs
