Job Description

HSE Advisor – Oil & Gas Shutdown – Casual

Supported by our site based HSE team, you will increase our UGL presence and horsepower during the upcoming major LNG Train turnaround event.  You will work alongside the UGL team and the client safety team to deliver a safe and successful turnaround.

About the role

  • Provide support to the site based UGL and Client HSE teams during the turnaround event
  • Ensure risk management processes are implemented, monitored, and reviewed
  • Oversee all Health, Safety, Environmental and Risk activities on site and develop and encourage safe working cultures for all employees and subcontractors on site

About you

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a shutdown / outage environment for heavy industry (LNG, Power Generation, Refinery, Chemical, Petro-Chemical, continuous processing facility)
  • Degree Qualified (Desirable)
  • Diploma in Work Health and Safety or equivalent (Minimum)
  • Cert IV Trainer & Assessor (Minimum)
  • Internal HSSE Lead Auditing Qualification 
  • Root Cause Investigation Qualification (Taproot, ICAM) (Minimum)
