HR & Training Assistant

Job Description


NRG Gladstone Operating Services (NRGGOS) is currently seeking to appoint a temporary full time HR & Training Assistant to join the Human Resources team working a 40 hour week on a 9 day fortnight basis. This contract will be until December 2023.  

This position is a key administrative and assistant support role to the HR and Training team and will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support these functions. 

The role will provide support in all functions of HR which includes recruitment, onboarding, secondments, competencies, site wide training activities including booking training, liaising with training providers, maintaining the HR & Training database and personnel files. 

The successful applicant will have Certificate III in Business Administration (or a relevant certificate), and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role. It is essential to have good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office suite and corporate business systems. The successful candidates will have the ability to maintain confidentiality, great attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload. 

Previous experience in coordinating end to end recruitment and coordinating site training is desirable by advantageous. 

This role also provides the successful incumbent the opportunity to learn and grow within the HR and/or Training profession.
