The Mantra Gladstone through 2021 has seen not only rebranded from being a Mercure, but also 30 rooms into self contained units. The hotel is a franchised property and attached to the Yaralla Sports Club, a community owned organisation. This means profits go back into the Community as well as reinvested into the property. Always striving for more the property is already looking to increase the number of hotel rooms and attaining a five star rating, becoming the first property in Gladstone to reach a five star rating.

 

 

Qualifications & experience

 

  • Knowledge and use of Excel, Outlook, hotel PMS systems (Opera) advantageous. Current RSA.

 

 

 

Tasks & responsibilities

 

  • Provide quality service to the customer by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously throughout their stay. Maintain control of guest & hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis
  • Promote hotel facilities and maximise sales through sound product knowledge & selling skills Meet and greet all guests/members coming into the property in a friendly and professional manner
