Clermont Open Cut in Central Queensland is recruiting for an experienced HST Coordinator to support and coordinate all aspects of site HST requirements. Reporting to the HST Manager, you will provide support in all matters that relate to SHMS, legislative compliance, training, records management and demonstrate strong skills in the facilitation of risk assessments and the development of procedures, experience in facilitating incident investigations using the ICAM or similar process. You will also demonstrate strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and have the ability to influence across all levels. You will have an eye for detail, be highly organized and above all work well within a very busy team. With excellent computer skills, you will maintain and be a critical contact point on site for our SHMS system as required by legislation.

Ideally, your background will include a tertiary qualification (OH&S, legal or related), a high level of computer literacy and experience in a similar role. The ability to work in high pressure and ambiguous environments and maintain confidentiality with regards to tasks is essential. This role is a permanent full-time position on a Monday to Friday staff roster.
