About the role

We currently have a vacancy available for an enthusiastic Health and Safety Administrator at Peak Downs. Working a 9 day fortnight roster you will report to the HSET Manager and work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

Some of your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing system and administrative support to the HSET Manager and Health and Safety Advisors
  • Manage compliance with the Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme
  • Data management for the client and Thiess incident management systems (Fiori & Synergy)
  • Assist the HSET team in the compilation and preparation of weekly and monthly reporting requirements

The Peak Downs project is located approximately 50kms from Moranbah, where daily transport to and from camp is provided.

About you

  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Administrator within a resources, construction, or similar industry

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (preferable but not required)

  • Proficiency in MS Office (specifically strong Excel skills), SharePoint, Outlook and exposure to incident management systems

  • Highly motivated, reliable and committed to meeting deadlines, continuous improvement and delivering results 

  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment and able to work autonomously
