Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Grounds person at our mining village in Gladstone, employed on a permanent basis.

The Position:

  • General works and maintenance programs e.g. mowing, general grounds works, grounds cleaning, landfill activities as identified within the Village.
  • Waste and landfill duties as required and directed by management.
  • Ensuring that works programs are maintained to the level as set per contract specifications
  • Ensuring that the safety of personnel and public is maintained 
  • General Hand duties and Utility duties as required such as kitchen duty
  • Drive in Drive Out

Minimum Criteria:

  • Highly desirable to have a cert III in Horticulture
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Safe Work Practices
  • Experience in grounds work ( Mowing, weed spraying, etc)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Safe Work Practices
  • Police Check (less than 3 months)
  • Be physically fit and healthy
  • Have a strong focus on safety
  • Have the ability to work in a team environment. 
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced, time-managed environment
  • Be conditioned to the extreme weather in Central QLD
  • Have your own transport to get to Site
  • Open Drivers Licence
  • COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining Full vaccination is required. As a service provider, ISS must comply with all public health directives and client requirements. Medical exemptions will apply.
