Your new role

Do you have horticulture, arboriculture or gardening experience and love working in the great outdoors?

Council are seeking Gardeners to join the Parks teams on a casual basis.

With your safety focused approach you will be experienced in safe work practices, following WH&S procedures and policies. You have good attention to detail and use care when operating and maintaining plant and machinery.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What we are looking for

  • C Class driver licence and White Card (Mandatory)
  • Ability to safely operate mowers, brush cutters, chain saws and blowers
  • A motivated, proactive, self-starter with a passion to deliver quality horticulture works
  • Excellent communication, team work and customer service skills
  • Someone who enjoys and is capable of physical and outdoor work
